By the Way Medical Mission-Free Clinic has been established for the residents of Fairfield County who are uninsured or under-insured and in need of free episodic health care. Listening to the concerns of the community has served as the impetus to organize health care professionals who are like-minded people with a heart to serve those in need. By the Way is a neighborhood-based, comprehensive ministry working within the Lancaster community to offer hope to those in despair. Staffed by medical professionals as a non-profit clinic providing medical exams, prescription assistance, outpatient testing, social services, and nursing follow up to those who cannot afford conventional health care, By the Way is founded through the cooperation of members from over six area churches. |
